the day i have been dreading is finally here. i already counted, 4 weeks of physical training, followed by 9 weeks of BMT, i will pass out on 12 sept 2009 exactly. which is also my dear girlfriend's 19th birthday:)

guess the emotions hasn't settled into me just yet. but deep inside of me i am feeling sad that we are going to spend lesser time together. but i assure you, from now on, i will do my best to make it the most memorable period to you. ever.

weird

poly has started again this week. just feels weird like not going back to school. hahaha. the next stage of life coming up. NS. haha. feels weird enticipating the day the letter comes. imagine, you see a letter from mindef in the letter box. how would you feel? haha. personally, i would feel sad cause it means i will have lesser time to spend with my dear girlfriend, which will then also allow us to treasure each other more. but i guess i have no choice. every singaporean guy has to go through it. haha.

went to sign up for BTT on the 27th may yesterday with weien. 1 day before my graduation. aiming to pass advanced theory before i enlist. haha. at least i wont be so free now. hoping i will be able to get a temporary job too before i enlist. thanks dear for helping me apply:)

im glad everything is ok already. the last week was a really difficult period for us both. i really dont want to go through it ever again.

BATAM!!!

BATAM OEI!!!!!!!!!!! :D

came back from batam yesterday. it was SHIOK!!! :D the 3d2n was really enjoyable and it was a really memorable one to spend it with my fellow yr 3s from club. it also marked the end of our poly life as we can soon begin the next phrase of our lives. guys, we'll be going to serve our ns while the girls are going to either work or continue studying yup. the 11 of us, me, kelvin, weien, wilson, dionna, huisi, yanmei, huisan, jane, joycelyn and daphne. i really wanna thank you all for the enoyable time we spent there.

on the 1st day, we met at tanah merah ferry terminal before taking the ferry to batam. once we reached the hotel, we headed to town for shopping. hahaha. the shopping centres didnt really have much stuff there but once we stepped into matahari, a departmental store, we just went mad. the ralph lauren's polo were selling for only s$70+! and there was a discount where if you buy 3 pieces, there will be a 50% discount. hahaha. in total, kelvin, weien and i bought 4 tops from there. but from all different places. haha. basically the 1st day was a shopping trip.

the 2nd day was the day we set out to do. snockleing, massage and seafood:D initially we were not able to go snockle coz the guy said that the sea was not that clear, so we headed to play beach volleyball. but suddenly the guy walked towards us and said if we wanted, we could go now as the boatman said it was quite clear. so we headed to a nearby island. the guys had to go by the jet ski and it was SUPER SCARY!!! we were flying through the waves into the air. gosh. but it was rather enjoyable. then going into the sea, seeing the corals and fishes was a really different experience for me:) swimming around, i saw a sea urchin! its my 1st time seeing a sea urchin so its quite cool. after awhile, i saw another one nearby. hahaha. snockled for about an hour then we headed back to the hotel to prepare to go for the massage. kelvin, weien and i did the bali mix thai massage. it was quite alright and pain at times. haha. but quite shiok overall. after that we went for seafood at golden prawn and it was VERY CHEAP!!! the final bill was about 1000000 rupiah and each person only had to pay about S$11! we had black pepper crabs, cereal prawns, sweet sour egg, lemon chicken and veg. SHIOK! :D

the 3rd day. we didnt really do much, we filmed our 11 green bottle song:D, went to collect the shells that the boatman got from the sea. the shells were big and very nice once they were cleaned. then after that, we were basically taking pictures until it was time to go to the ferry terminal. it was a really enjoyable experience and i really miss the fun we had there:)
